Bay City is a megalopolis on the western coast of North America, Earth, Sol.
History[]
In its past, Bay City was once known as San Francisco (officially the City of San Francisco). The mega-city stands as a cultural, financial, commercial and economical center of the continent, housing tens of millions of people. A great number of ultra-rich individuals known as Meths take residence in a quarter of the city located above the clouds, within mile-long skyscrapers known as The Aerium.
While the city has a ultra-modern, tech look, with tall skyscrapers, many business and people seem to be located in shipping containers (such as Vernon Elliot business). Many older structures do survive, but seem to be in showing signs of age- one example being the Golden Gate Bridge.
