"Nora Inu" is the seventh episode of the Season One of Netflix's Altered Carbon. It aired on February 2, 2018, along with the remainder of the first season.

Takeshi Kovacs wakes up inside Reileen's apartment at Head in the Clouds barely alive with Reaper flowing through his blood. Reileen grabs the defibrillator and tries to shock him back to life.
In the first flashback Takeshi's father has killed his mother and dumped her body in the cooling pool and goes to beat up Reileen. Takeshi slags his stack and gets arrested by CTAC.
Raileen tries to shock Takeshi one more time to wake him up but it is not working.
In the second flashback Takeshi is being grilled by his nemesis Jaeger. Jaeger says he will give Raileen a new home in exchange for Takeshi becoming a CTAC soldier. Takeshi is put on ice to grow his body to adulthood as the screen goes to black.
In the present Takeshi finally wakes up. Rei tells him that he has blood infection from the Reaper and he has internal bleeding from being shot at Fightdrome. Rei tells Takeshi that Ortega is okay and that he needs rest and she will get him a new sleeve. Takeshi tells her that he needs this sleeve intact and she agrees. Takeshi wakes up again and Rei tells him how she survived Stronghold. Rei says she was found in the wreckage of her shuttle with her and Quell's stacks. Some archaeologist found her and loaded her into a synth. Rei then escaped with her DNA and both stacks and went underground where she became a Meth and donated her DNA to Psychasec to place her in a new body and to grow her some new clones. Takeshi tells Rei why he became a CTAC, fibrillates and blacks out.
In the third flashback Takeshi cast into his body all grown up and Jaeger gives him his orders to assassinate Gottfrid Saito. Takeshi leads the CTAC assault squad as they storm the hideout. Takeshi is about to put a bullet in Saito's head when Reileen comes behind him and tells him to drop is his gun. Takeshi ask her where she got the medallion before he takes off his mask. Takeshi and Reileen turn on their handlers and become fugitives fleeing into the jungles of Harlan's World. Takeshi and Reileen make camp and they are jumped by Envoys and Quell. Takeshi surrenders and one of the envoys buffalos him and he is knocked out.
Takeshi wakes up chained to the bridge with Vidaura and Okoluv on one side and Quell and Desoto on the other. Desoto asks Quell if he could kill Takeshi with Quell rebuking him. Quell questions Takeshi about why he is working for CTAC with Takeshi telling her they betrayed him and the reason why Takeshi killed the CTAC Praetorians and Reileen killed the Yakuza. Quell frees Takeshi and he and Reileen join the Envoys.
Every flashback of their training is played and Takeshi listens to every word Quell says. The only one who does not listen is Reileen who is jealous of Quell.
One day Takeshi, Reileen, and the Envoys head on a mission but Desoto botches it and they have to head back. Reileen rebukes Desoto for botching the mission and Takeshi takes a long time to return. Takeshi finally returns, no casualties are reported and the mission was a success. Later at dinner Takeshi and Desoto talk to each other and share a drink.
Quell tells the Envoys the real reason why they are there. Quell tells them back on Earth the Meths have risen to power and think of themselves as gods. Quell plans to infect the stacks with Acheron and Rawling Virus to shut them down and cause real death. Reileen does not listen and goes rogue.
During the mission the Envoys break into the CTAC Central Core. Takeshi gets captured by Jaeger and tortured in VR. Quell gets him out and they escape with their lives.
Reileen rebukes Takeshi for what he did and that if it was not for the Envoys Jeager would have discovered their base and killed Takeshi. Reileen tells Takeshi she wants to be immortal and she does not want to see Takeshi dead.
Later Takeshi and Quell meet on the beach and Quell tells him the truth that she is Nadia Makita and all she wants is life to return to normal. That night they make love.
The next day Takeshi writes the final verse in Quell's journal. Reileen sees Takeshi and Quell in bed with each other and runs off for the shuttle.
In the present Takeshi wakes up and Reileen offers him a shot of Goliath to return him to fighting strength. Reileen tells Takeshi Harlan's World was destroyed and not even Stronghold survived.
In the flashback Stronghold gets attacked and the Battle of Stronghold begins. Takeshi tries to talk to the Envoys but the Rawling virus hits all of them. Vidaura shoots Okoluv and Desoto shouts "Long Live the Uprising!" before Takeshi slags his stack. Takeshi heads to the shuttle but it blows up killing Quell and Reileen.
In the present Reileen tells Takeshi she does not remember and Takeshi says he is going to wash his face.
Takeshi stumbles on a secret room and inside are four pods. The truth comes out: Reileen is the girl from the museum, she is Clarissa Severin, she is Hemingway, and she is the Afterlifer.
In a flashback it shows what really happened. Quell fights Reileen and ask why she did it with Reileen responding "they gave me life" before she blows up the shuttle confirming she works for the Meths.
In the present Takeshi asks the same question. She tells him that she did it for him.
